Armand W. Forstall was born in France on July 5, 1859 and entered the Society of Jesus on Dec. 30, 1878. Following studies at Amiens and Douai, he immigrated to the United States and In 1885 began teaching chemistry and physics at the newly established College of the Sacred Heart in Morrison, Colo. In 1891 he began his studies at Woodstock College of Maryland and in 1892 or 3 was ordained to the priesthood.
